Office Cleaning across the West Midlands

An office clean is judged on four things and none of them is the floor: whether the washrooms are stocked and fresh, whether the kitchen is genuinely clean, whether desks and touchpoints have actually been wiped rather than dusted around, and whether the reception and glazing look right when a visitor arrives.

Our nightly round is built in that order. Washrooms first while the cleaner is fresh, kitchen and breakout second, desks and touchpoints third, then floors, glass and reception as the closing pass so nothing is walked back through what has just been done.

Hot-desking changed the touchpoint job in this region as much as anywhere: shared monitors, docking stations, chair arms, meeting-room tables and touchscreen panels need wiping every visit, not weekly. We specify those explicitly so they cannot quietly drop off the round when time is short.

Consumables are managed rather than reactive. Paper, soap, sanitiser and bin liners are counted on a schedule and restocked before they run out, invoiced at cost plus 10% and itemised — which removes the most common source of office-manager irritation entirely.

How to book

How to book office cleaning in the West Midlands

Task-by-task specification in running order — washrooms, kitchen, desks and touchpoints, then floors, glass and reception.

  3. Step 3

    Register staff and mobilise

Cleaners pre-registered with building security, keys and codes documented, consumables baseline counted.

  4. Step 4

What's included

  • Washrooms first, every visit

Sanitised, restocked, mirrors and chrome dried, floors mopped and checked — done at the start of the shift rather than the rushed end.

  • Kitchen and breakout areas

Worktops, sinks, taps, microwave interiors, fridge fronts and bin areas, with the fridge interior on a scheduled rotation.

  • Desks and touchpoint sanitising

Desks, shared monitors, docking stations, chair arms, door furniture, light switches and meeting-room tables wiped every visit.

  • Meeting rooms reset

Tables cleared and wiped, chairs squared, whiteboards cleaned and glazing marks removed so rooms are usable from 9am.

  • Floors and entrance matting

Vacuumed and mopped as the closing pass, with matting lifted and cleaned underneath rather than vacuumed over.

  • Reception and internal glass

The visitor-facing zone treated as its own task — desk, seating, glazing, door glass and finger marks.

  • Consumables managed

Paper, soap, sanitiser and liners counted, restocked before they run out and invoiced at cost plus 10%, itemised.

  • Monthly scored inspection

A supervisor walk against your written specification, emailed with photographs and dated corrective actions.

Local knowledge that changes the job

Colmore Business District and city-centre floors

Colmore Row, Snow Hill, Temple Row and Brindleyplace floors are mostly multi-tenant, with shared washrooms cleaned under the building's own contract and the demise cleaned under yours. Getting that boundary written down at survey stage prevents the classic dispute where each side assumes the other does the kitchen.

Access is the other city-centre reality: out-of-hours entry runs through building security with pre-registered staff lists and pass issue. We register cleaners formally and keep the list current, because an unregistered cover cleaner turned away at the desk is a missed clean nobody can fix at 7pm.

Business parks and out-of-town offices

Blythe Valley, Birmingham Business Park, Solihull Parkway, Ansty Park and the Prologis estates are self-contained buildings with their own car parks, which changes the soiling profile: heavy grit and salt tracked in over winter, and large glazed entrances that show every mark.

We put disproportionate time into entrance matting and the glazed lobby on those sites and lift matting to clean beneath it weekly. It is the difference between an office that looks clean at 8am and one that looks tired by Tuesday.

Coventry, Wolverhampton and the Black Country

Offices in Coventry city centre, Friargate, Wolverhampton's i9 and the Black Country trade counters and mixed office-warehouse units mostly want early morning or evening rounds around single-shift working patterns.

Mixed office-warehouse premises need segregated kit — the same mop must never cross from a workshop floor to an office kitchen. That is written into the specification, colour-coded in practice and checked at the monthly inspection.

Soft water, kitchens and washroom finish

On Birmingham's very soft Elan Valley supply, the office washroom failure is soap film on chrome and mirrors rather than limescale, and it comes from over-dosing product. Our teams under-dose deliberately and finish chrome and mirrors dry.

Coventry and Warwickshire sites are harder, so kettles, boiling taps and washroom spouts scale instead and get a scheduled descale. The specification is written to the site's water, not copied from another building.

    Deep Clean Bungalow

The team of three young lads arrived from HELLO SERVICES at the scheduled time and started work to deep clean straight away. They were courteous, polite, very professional treated us and our bungalow and contents with the greatest respect. Also, they obviously had great pride in their work and turned our dull bungalow into a sparkling paradise. The booking process was easy, and their communication was good with both emails, phone calls and reminders. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. It was well worth the money we paid and was a great experience.

Office Cleaning in the West Midlands — FAQs

Q1.How much does office cleaning cost?

From £45 per visit. A small office up to ten desks is £45 a night; a ten to forty desk office is from £75 a night. Larger and multi-floor sites are quoted per site after a free survey.

Q2.Do you clean in the evening or before we open?

Either, and both are common. Evenings after 6pm suit most city-centre and business-park offices; early mornings before 8am suit sites with late working. Daytime washroom checks can be added on busy floors.

Q3.Are consumables included?

They are managed but charged separately, at cost plus 10% and itemised on your invoice. We count and restock on a schedule so nobody on your team ends up buying paper and soap in an emergency.

Q4.Do you sanitise desks and shared equipment?

Every visit. Desks, shared monitors, docking stations, chair arms, door furniture, light switches and meeting-room tables are specified explicitly so they cannot drop off the round when a shift is tight.

Q5.How do you handle building security and access?

Cleaners are pre-registered with building security or reception, we keep the list current including cover staff, and keys, fobs and alarm codes are held formally with documented lone-working procedures.

Q6.What happens if standards slip?

You have a named account manager, a signed audit sheet on site after every visit and a monthly scored inspection with photographs and dated corrective actions. Raise anything at any time and it is actioned on the next shift.

Q7.Can you clean carpets and glazing too?

Yes, as planned periodic works — carpet extraction from £2.20 per m² and glazing from £90 per visit — scheduled out of hours so nothing disrupts the working day.

Q8.Do you cover multi-tenant buildings?

Yes, and we define the boundary at survey stage between the landlord's common parts contract and your demise, in writing, so washrooms and kitchens are never left to assumption.
