How booking works
Three steps, no survey needed for most jobs
- Step 1
Tell us the postcode
Send the outward code and a few photos. M-, SK-, BL-, OL-, WN- and WA15 all sit inside our standard travel zone, so the price you see is the price you pay.
- Step 2
Get a fixed quote
We price the job, not the hour where we can: room counts for cleaning, van size and access for moves, load volume for clearance. Written before anyone books.
- Step 3
We turn up and sign it off
One insured Greater Manchester crew, checklists signed on completion, waste transfer notes and photos where the job needs proof.

Why Hello Services
Built around how Greater Manchester actually lives
Built for terraces and mill flats
Two-up two-downs in Gorton, back-to-back parking in Levenshulme and lift-only mill conversions in Ancoats all need different kit. Crews are briefed on access before the van is loaded.
Clean Air Zone ready
Our vans meet the emissions standards Greater Manchester authorities expect, so no charge is ever passed through on a Manchester or Salford job.
Licensed waste carrier
Everything cleared is weighed, recycled where it can be and logged. You get a waste transfer note by email the same day — the paperwork landlords and agents ask for.
One team, one invoice
Move out on Friday, deposit clean on Saturday, handyman for the new place on Monday. Book them together and you deal with one coordinator and one bill.
About the county
Housing stock, weather and access in Greater Manchester
Greater Manchester is ten boroughs pushed together by the cotton trade, and the housing tells that story: dense terraced grids in Gorton, Oldham and Bolton, Edwardian semis along the Didsbury and Heaton corridors, 1960s Wigan estates, and thousands of converted mill and warehouse apartments in Ancoats, Castlefield and Salford Quays. Each one changes the job. Terraces mean rear-alley access and on-street loading; mill flats mean lift bookings, narrow service corridors and strict porter hours; the newer Quays blocks want proof of insurance before a van is allowed on the ramp. Rain does the rest — the county averages roughly 140 wet days a year, which is why patios green over, hallway carpets take the worst of the traffic and jet washing sells hardest between March and October. Our Greater Manchester pages are written area by area against those facts, so the advice you read for Chorlton-cum-Hardy is not the advice you read for Rochdale.

Questions
Greater Manchester FAQs
Which parts of Greater Manchester do you cover?
All ten boroughs: Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and Wigan. That is every M, SK, BL, OL, WN and WA15 outward code inside the county boundary, and we publish a page for each of the 115 areas listed on this hub.
Do you charge extra for the Clean Air Zone or city-centre access?
No. Our vehicles meet the emissions standard, so there is no charge to pass on, and city-centre work in M1 to M4 is priced the same as suburban Didsbury or Sale. If a building needs a lift or loading-bay booking we arrange it as part of the job.
How quickly can you get to my area?
Standard lead time is 48 hours across the county, and we hold same-week slots for end-of-tenancy cleans and single-item van jobs. Saturday work is normal rate; Sunday and bank holidays carry a small uplift agreed up front.
Can I book more than one service at once?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper. A move plus an end-of-tenancy clean, or a clearance plus a deep clean before a sale, is scheduled back to back by the same coordinator so the property is only unlocked once.
Are you insured, and what happens if something is damaged?
Every crew carries public liability cover and goods-in-transit insurance on removals. If anything is damaged we log it on the day, and claims are handled directly by our office rather than passed to a subcontractor.
Do you work with landlords and letting agents in Manchester?
Regularly. Agents across Fallowfield, Withington, Salford Quays and the city centre book check-out cleans and clearances on account, with an inventory-standard checklist and a 72-hour re-clean if anything is flagged at check-out.
What happens to the waste you clear?
It goes to a licensed transfer station where it is sorted. Recyclables, metal, textiles and reusable furniture are separated out, and you get the waste transfer note showing where the load went.
How are prices worked out for older Greater Manchester housing?
By what the property actually needs. Victorian terraces have more skirting, coving and sash detail than a new Salford apartment, and mill conversions add stair and lift time on a move. We price from photos or a short video walk-through so the figure holds.

3.9 ★ from 1,412 Google reviewsI needed an end of tenancy clean for the next day and they were happy to provide a cleaning service. I had a very positive experience with HelloService. I first used their service two years ago for the end of tenancy cleaning of my flat in Edinburgh, where I had lived for six years. I was quite nervous, as the property had been occupied for a long time, but HelloService delivered a very high standard… Read in full →
Milad and his assistant did an excellent pre-move deep clean of our new home, turned up on time, spent longer than expected and were very friendly - thanks so much. We were pleasantly surprised at how well each room was done and in particular how exhaustively they cleaned the kitchen and appliances. It was great… Read in full →
