Professional Cleaning FAQs
Do I need to provide cleaning products?+
No — our cleaners bring commercial-grade eco products and all equipment unless you specifically prefer we use yours.
How is the price calculated?+
Regular cleans are priced by the hour. End-of-tenancy, deep cleans and specialist jobs are fixed by property size — you see the total before you book.
Are you insured?+
Yes. Every clean is covered by £5m public liability insurance and our 24-hour re-clean guarantee.
Do I need to be home during the clean?+
No — most customers give us a key or door code. Every cleaner is DBS-checked and photo-ID verified so you can trust us in your home unattended.
How much notice do I need to book?+
We usually have same-week availability and often same-day for regular cleans. End-of-tenancy slots book fastest — 48 hours ahead is safe.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?+
Tell us within 24 hours and we'll return free of charge to put anything missed right. It's part of our written re-clean guarantee.
Can I have the same cleaner every visit?+
Yes — for regular housekeeping we assign a dedicated cleaner who learns your home and preferences, with a named back-up for holidays.
Do you clean windows, ovens and carpets in one visit?+
Yes, if you book them together. Ovens and carpets use specialist equipment so we'll allocate an extra crew member or a slightly longer slot.
Removals & Moving FAQs
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?+
Yes — bed frames, wardrobes and flat-pack furniture are dismantled at collection and rebuilt at the destination as standard.
Is my stuff insured while it's in the van?+
Every load is covered by £10,000 goods-in-transit insurance. Higher limits available on request.
Can you do same-day moves?+
Often yes — call us and we'll check crew and van availability in your area.
Do you provide packing materials?+
Yes — double-walled boxes, tape, bubble wrap, mattress covers and wardrobe boxes are all available and included in full-pack quotes.
What if there's no parking outside?+
We handle it. We apply for parking suspensions where councils require them, and our crews bring long carry-runs and trolleys for tight streets.
Do you offer storage between moves?+
Yes — secure, insured storage by the week or month, with pickup and re-delivery handled by the same crew.
Are stairs, lifts or long carries extra?+
Standard floors are included in the quote. Anything unusual (top-floor walk-ups, restricted lifts, 20m+ carries) is flagged during the survey so the price never changes on the day.
What happens if something gets damaged?+
In the rare event of damage, we handle the claim directly through our goods-in-transit insurance — no forms for you to fill in.
Handyman & Assembly FAQs
What's the minimum booking?+
One hour, then billed in 30-minute blocks. You only pay for the time your handyman actually works.
Do you bring fixings?+
Yes — screws, wall plugs and standard brackets are included. Anything specialist we'll flag and buy on the way.
Can one handyman do multiple jobs?+
Absolutely — that's the point. Batch a list together and cross it all off in a single visit.
Can you mount a TV on a plasterboard or brick wall?+
Both. We carry heavy-duty toggle fixings for plasterboard and hammer drills with masonry bits for brick — the bracket rating we use is chosen from the wall type and TV weight.
Do you tidy up afterwards?+
Yes — packaging is broken down, off-cuts are bagged and floors are vacuumed. Bulky flat-pack cardboard can be taken away for a small disposal fee.
What if the job takes longer than estimated?+
We'll call before we go over. You can approve the extra time or stop at the original quote — no work continues without your say-so.
Are your handymen vetted?+
Every handyman is trade-tested, reference-checked and covered by £2m public liability insurance before their first booking.
Rubbish & House Clearance FAQs
Are you licensed to remove waste?+
Yes — we're registered as an Upper Tier waste carrier with the Environment Agency. Every job comes with a waste transfer note.
What happens to the items?+
We sort at our transfer station: working furniture and electricals are donated, recyclables are separated, and only the residue goes to landfill.
Can you clear a full house in a day?+
Most 2–3 bed houses are cleared in a single day with a two- or three-person crew.
How is the price worked out?+
By volume — the space your items take up in the van, measured in cubic yards. You only pay for the space you actually use.
Can you take fridges, mattresses and electricals?+
Yes — including all WEEE items (fridges, freezers, TVs, small appliances) which we recycle at licensed facilities.
Do I have to be there for the collection?+
No — as long as we can safely access the items you can leave instructions and pay by card or bank transfer afterwards.
What can't you take?+
Hazardous waste (asbestos, clinical, chemicals, tyres) and gas cylinders. For anything unusual, send a photo and we'll advise the safest route.
