Questions
Common questions
- How much does flat-pack furniture assembly cost?
- Most items are priced individually, from £35 for a small unit. If you have several pieces it is usually cheaper to book time: £55 an hour or £190 for a half day, with everything confirmed before we start.
- Do you anchor wardrobes and tall units to the wall?
- Yes. Anti-tip anchoring is part of the build, and we carry fixings for plasterboard, dot-and-dab, lath and plaster, stock brick and concrete so nothing is left leaning on a skirting board.
- Do you take the packaging away?
- Yes. Flattened cardboard, polystyrene and plastic go with us at the end of the visit unless you would rather keep the boxes.
- Can you disassemble furniture as well?
- We do. Take-down of an existing unit is priced at a share of the build figure for the same item, and we bag and label the fittings so it can go back together later.
