  • How long does a bed take to assemble?

    A standard double or king frame is usually under an hour. Ottoman gas-lift bases run to around ninety minutes, and bunk or cabin beds two to three hours because of the safety checks.

  • Can you take my old bed away?

    Yes. We dismantle and remove it under our upper-tier waste carrier licence with a transfer note, and mattresses go through a recycling route rather than to landfill wherever possible.

  • Why does my bed creak after self-assembly?

    Almost always because the fixings were tightened in the wrong order, leaving the frame slightly out of square. We build in sequence and re-check the frame under load before leaving.

  • Do you fit ottoman gas-lift bases?

    Yes. The struts must be fitted the correct way round and to the correct bracket, and we test the lift holds at every position before handing it over.

  • Can you assemble beds on the day of my move?

    Yes — and if we are already doing your removal, bed rebuild is part of the move rather than a separate booking.
