Deposit deductions turn on the check-out report

Under the deposit protection schemes used across London lettings, an inventory clerk's check-out report is the document a landlord relies on to claim against the tenancy deposit for anything left behind. A clearance finished after that appointment is too late to change what the report already says, which is why we book against the clerk's time rather than a loose 'sometime that day' slot.

We photograph the emptied property immediately afterwards and send the set the same day, so the agent has a dated record to attach to the deposit claim if the tenant disputes it.

CPZ hours decide the loading window

Because the crew is already on site and the property is already stripped of furniture, most letting agents take the combined clearance-and-clean package rather than scheduling two separate contractors against the same handover date. It removes one coordination point on a day that already has an inventory clerk, a new tenant's move-in and a landlord all working to the same few hours.
