Handyman pricing

Handyman rates and flat job prices

Most handyman jobs are too small to survey, so we publish two things: an honest hourly rate with a one-hour minimum, and flat prices for the jobs we do every week.

Handyman price list

Small jobs are charged hourly with a one-hour minimum; the most common jobs have a flat price so there is nothing to work out.

What moves the price

  • One visit, one list

The half day at £125 is the best value on this page. Four separate one-hour visits cost £140 and four lots of travel.

  • Wall type

Plasterboard, brick and concrete need different fixings and drilling time. Tell us the wall and the quote holds.

  • Parts and materials

Fixings and consumables are included. Anything you want us to buy is supplied at cost with the receipt.

  • Trade-certified work

Notifiable electrical and gas work is outside handyman scope and referred to a certified trade rather than quoted here.

Handyman pricing FAQs

Handyman prices, answered.

  • Is there a call-out fee?

No. You pay the hourly rate or the flat job price, and nothing for turning up.

  • What is the minimum booking?

One hour at £35, then billed in 30-minute blocks.

  • Can one handyman do several unrelated jobs?

Yes, and that is the cheapest way to use us. Send the list and we tell you whether it fits a half or full day.
