Non-caustic, fume-free appliance care

Appliance cleaning in Greater Manchester

Ovens, hobs, extractors, fridges and washing machines dismantled where safe, degreased and rebuilt across all 135 Greater Manchester service areas — usable again the same day.

Technician cleaning an oven interior in a Greater Manchester kitchen
Racks and trays dip-tanked in the van; door glass split and cleaned both sides where the model allows.

Dismantled, degreased and rebuilt — not sprayed and wiped

Most of the carbon in a domestic oven is on the racks, the trays and the inside of the door glass. Those parts come out and go into a heated dip tank in the van, which is why a professional clean looks different from an hour with a supermarket spray.

The technician checks the seal, the fan cover and the extractor filters while the parts soak, then rebuilds and function-tests the appliance. Landlords and tenants booking around a check-out get a photographed before-and-after for the inventory.

  • Oven door split and glass cleaned both sides where the model allows
  • Racks, trays and shelves dip-tanked off site in the van
  • Hob, burners and pan supports degreased
  • Extractor filters cleaned or replaced
  • Fridge and freezer emptied, defrosted, sanitised and deodorised
  • Washing machine drawer, seal and filter descaled

How it works

  1. Step 1

    List the appliances

Tell us the oven type, whether there is a separate hob, extractor, fridge or washing machine.

  2. Step 2

    Dismantle and soak

Racks, trays, burners and filters come out and go into the heated dip tank in the van.

  3. Step 3

    Degrease and detail

Cavity, door glass, seals and controls are cleaned by hand with non-caustic products.

  4. Step 4

    Rebuild and test

Everything is refitted, function-tested and wiped down so the appliance is usable immediately.

Appliance cleaning on the ground in Greater Manchester

We cover 135 named areas across all 10 Greater Manchester boroughs — roughly 3,113,600 residents and 85 Royal Mail postcode districts. Housing stock, council rules and local soiling change street by street, so here is what our crews plan for before a appliance clean visit.

The housing stock our crews actually meet

Greater Manchester is not one building type. Wigan is terraces, interwar semis and large postwar and modern estates. Blackley is interwar Corporation semis, 1960s estates and pockets of Victorian cottages. Longdendale is stone cottages, Victorian terraces and modern estates on the valley shelves. We price and schedule appliance clean around that stock rather than a flat per-hour rate.

Local conditions that change the job

Soiling here is weather- and traffic-led. In Droylsden, canal-side damp and Ashton New Road traffic film settle on frontages and marina-facing glass. In Openshaw, ashton Old Road HGV traffic deposits soot on white uPVC within a season. In Northenden, mersey flood-plain damp keeps patios, gravel boards and north-facing render green; silt lines show on drives after high water. Our teams carry the kit those conditions need on the first visit.

Where demand concentrates

Stretford (Trafford) — match-day crowds, Stretford Mall, Longford Park events and a strong civic scene. Salford (Salford) — university of Salford students, Chapel Street bars and long-rooted Salford families. Ordsall (Salford) — ordsall Hall events, community boxing and a strong local identity. Those rhythms decide our slot availability for appliance clean week to week.

  • Can you clean the oven door glass?

On most models yes — we split the door and clean both inner faces. A few sealed doors cannot be split safely and we will tell you before starting.

  • How long does an oven clean take?

About 90 minutes for a single oven, two to two and a half hours for a double or range.

  • Is it safe for pyrolytic ovens?

Yes, with the right method. Pyrolytic liners must not be scrubbed, so we hand-clean the cavity and dip-tank the removable parts.

  • Are the products safe around children and pets?

We use non-caustic, fume-free products rather than traditional caustic soda paste. There is no lingering chemical smell, and the oven can be used as soon as we have wiped it down and tested it.

Genuinely blown away by the high standard of the end of tenancy clean. Given the price, I thought I would be sacrificing a certain level of quality, but wow, Sardar was incredible. Arrived on time with great communication, got to work immediately, and even though the kitchen was a much bigger job than you would… Read in full →
