Labour prices assume you supply the paper; we can order it at cost. Paste, sizing, lining paper and filler are included. Extensive re-plastering is quoted separately after the walls are stripped, never assumed. Permits, ULEZ and the Congestion Charge where they apply are itemised in the quote.
Working in City of London
City of London is built from barbican and golden lane flats, converted counting houses and a handful of new riverside blocks, and the mix changes street by street — Aldgate (EC3), Bank and Cornhill (EC3) and Barbican (EC2) each behave differently on the day.
On the ground, congestion charge and ulez, ring-of-steel camera controls, almost no free kerb — loading bays must be booked around office hours. Locally that means aldgate gyratory red routes, tower-block concierge sign-in and lift booking and bank junction is closed to most traffic on weekdays — early-morning or weekend access only. Part of City of London sits inside the Congestion Charge zone, so the charge is quoted as its own line rather than hidden in the labour rate.
Leases across City of London restrict drilling into party and structural walls. We check what the wall actually is before we start, and where consent is needed we say so rather than fixing anyway.
