Cash, jewellery, passports, deeds, medication, house keys and anything irreplaceable. Keep them with you; they are excluded from every standard removals policy.
Tell the crew on the day and note it on the delivery paperwork, then send photos within the notification window stated on the policy — usually seven days. Items listed on the inventory with dated photos are settled fastest.
