Period baths were never installed level
Cast-iron and reglazed roll-top baths in Victorian and Edwardian terraces across Camden, Islington and Southwark commonly sit slightly out of level along the rim after a century of subfloor movement, which a standard flat-packed pivot screen isn't designed to accommodate.
We check the bath edge before ordering and pack and shim the hinge post until the screen itself reads level, even where the bath underneath it does not.
