House Clearance in Berkshire
Berkshire's household recycling centres are booked-appointment sites in every one of the six authorities, and several add extra conditions on top of the booking. Windsor & Maidenhead's Stafferton Way site requires an Advantage Card or photo ID plus a separate online permit for every van, pickup or trailer visit; West Berkshire's Newtown Road and Padworth sites charge non-residents per visit and refuse vans and trailers to them outright; Reading, Bracknell Forest and Wokingham share the re3 partnership sites but still require residency proof and a booked slot. A self-clearance of a full house turns into several separate visits under any of these systems, and none of them accept trade waste at all.
Access at the property varies just as much by borough. Reading's Victorian terraces and Caversham's bridge-limited access mean careful staging on the day; Bracknell's court-and-green layout means a longer carry than the house size suggests; Windsor town centre has bollard-controlled loading with event closures around the Castle; and rural West Berkshire villages near Hungerford and Newbury can have long private drives a large vehicle cannot turn on. We plan the vehicle and the route to the actual address rather than a generic county assumption.

How much does a house clearance cost in Berkshire?
It is priced by volume, so a part-clearance sits on the van-load scale and a whole property is a fixed figure set from photographs or a short survey.
Do I need a council permit for a clearance?
No — that requirement applies to residents taking their own waste to a Berkshire HWRC. A licensed clearance company disposes under its own waste carrier registration and issues you a transfer note instead.
Can you work to a completion or probate deadline?

Do I need to be there?
