London pricing

London cooker cleaning prices.

Priced by width and cavity count. A 110cm range is roughly twice the work of a 60cm freestanding cooker, so it is priced that way rather than averaged into one flat figure.
London cooker cleaning prices by appliance size
JobLondon fromTypical timeWhy the London price differs
Freestanding cooker (oven and hob)£751.5 hrsOven, grill, hob and the sides that only show when the cooker is pulled out are all one job.
Range cooker, 90cm£1102–3 hrsTwo or three cavities and cast-iron pan supports that need dipping rather than wiping.
Range cooker, 110cm or larger£1453–4 hrsMore cavities, heavier doors and burner crowns that come apart before they can be cleaned.
Gas hob and burner service clean£4545 minCrowns, caps and jets soaked and cleared so the flame burns blue instead of yellow.
Cooker clean at end of tenancy£852 hrsPriced to the inventory standard, including the plinth and wall behind the unit.

Prices include VAT with a £65 minimum charge per visit. Where a cooker cannot be pulled forward safely — a rigid gas bayonet or a tiled-in plinth — we clean what is reachable and note it on the report.

Working in London

What changes a cooker clean in London.

The appliance is the same everywhere. The kitchen it sits in, the paperwork the block wants, and the gas rules around moving it are what differ street to street.

Gas safety and who can move what

A rigid gas bayonet fitting means a freestanding cooker cannot be pulled forward safely without a Gas Safe engineer disconnecting it first — common in older conversions across Haringey and Lewisham where the original pipework has never been updated to a flexible hose.

We check the connection before we touch the unit. Where it is rigid, we clean everything reachable in place and tell you plainly what we could not get to, rather than forcing a pull that risks the gas joint.

Concrete, dot-and-dab and where the grease actually goes

Post-war blocks across Southwark and Newham often have solid kitchen walls where grease bakes onto tile grout behind the cooker; new-build kitchens around Wembley Park and the Greenwich Peninsula have plasterboard splashbacks that mark if the wrong product is used.

We test the surface first and use a product matched to the finish, not a single all-purpose degreaser on every wall.

Congestion Charge and access windows

The Congestion Charge applies in 8 central boroughs and is already priced into the job — it is never itemised separately unless a permit or bay suspension is also needed. Concierge buildings around Canary Wharf and Nine Elms typically ask for a booked access window rather than an open-ended visit, and we work to that slot.

Leases, deposits and shared kitchens

HMOs and shared flats, common in Zone 2 and 3 boroughs like Lewisham and Ealing, often have a cooker used by several tenants with cleaning split unevenly by rota. A one-off professional clean resets that argument cleanly at the start of a new tenancy or before a landlord inspection.

How it works

Three steps and a written price.

Booking cooker cleaning in london takes three steps — you get a fixed written figure before anyone is sent, and the price on the page is the price on the invoice.
  1. 1

Tell us the postcode and the job

Send photographs or a short video with your London postcode. It takes a couple of minutes and there is nothing to pay to ask.

  2. 2

    Get a fixed written price

We come back with one figure for cooker cleaning in london — ULEZ, the Congestion Charge and disposal or materials already inside it, with any council permit shown at cost.

  3. 3

Book the slot that suits you

Pick a morning or afternoon window, including evenings and weekends. You get a named team, a text before arrival and paperwork on completion.

London questions

London cooker cleaning questions.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

  • How much does cooker cleaning cost in London?

A freestanding cooker with oven and hob is £75. A 90cm range cooker is £110, and a 110cm or larger range is £145. A gas hob service clean on its own is £45. Parking, ULEZ and the Congestion Charge where it applies are already inside those prices.

  • Can you pull the cooker out to clean behind it?

Yes, where the gas or electrical connection allows it safely. We check the fitting first — a rigid gas bayonet needs a Gas Safe engineer to disconnect it, so in that case we clean everything reachable in place and tell you what we couldn't reach.

  • Do you clean gas burners so they light properly again?

Yes. Crowns, caps and jets are soaked and cleared of the food debris and grease that cause a yellow, uneven flame. We light the hob in front of you before we leave so you can see it working.

  • Is a range cooker priced differently to a normal cooker?

Yes, by width and cavity count. A 90cm range is £110 and a 110cm range is £145, because there are more cavities, heavier doors and larger burner crowns to strip and clean.

  • Can this be booked as part of an end of tenancy clean?

Yes — from £85 as an add-on, cleaned to the same inventory standard as the rest of the kitchen, including the plinth and the wall behind the unit.

  • Do you disconnect the gas supply yourselves?

No. Disconnecting or reconnecting a gas supply is Gas Safe registered work, not part of a cleaning visit. Where that is needed we will say so and you can arrange an engineer, or clean everything else in the meantime.
