The service, locally
Long distance moves from Sydenham SE26
Long distance removals from Sydenham start where every honest quote starts — how long the load takes in SE26, and how many road miles sit between here and the new address. The sum is £65 per hour of crew time plus £1.50 per road mile, with an hour loading and an hour unloading included as the baseline. A kerbside load adds walking distance rather than lifting, so the honest variable is how far the lorry can legally stand from your door. It is the same formula in Lewisham as it is everywhere else we work — the only thing that changes is your address and your mileage.

How it works
Three steps and a price that holds
Send both postcodes and the Sydenham home size
Where you are leaving in Sydenham, where you are going, how many bedrooms and the floor you are on. That is the whole input — the formula does the rest.
See the sum, not just a total
We send the crew hours, the real road miles via M25, M3 and M20, and the two multiplications that produce your fixed price. If you disagree with an input, we change the input, not the price.
One crew loads, drives and unloads
Kerbside load in a suspended bay, then straight onto the motorway. The same team that empties your Sydenham home carries it into the new one — no depot transfer, no shared load, no re-quote on the day.
Why us
Why Sydenham moves with us over the long haul
The formula is published, not negotiated
£65 an hour of crew time plus £1.50 a road mile, printed on the page before you speak to anyone. Two people moving the same load out of Sydenham on the same day pay the same price.
Mileage is measured, not estimated
We price the road distance the lorry actually drives, not a straight line on a map. Sydenham to Manchester is 200 road miles and is charged as 200 — a 2-bed at £560, fixed.
One crew, one vehicle, door to door
Your load is never consolidated with another household's or dropped at a depot overnight. That is why our long-distance dates hold and our damage rate stays where it is.
Loading a long-distance lorry on Sydenham's streets
We suspend or reserve the bay before the day so the lorry stands outside your door rather than three doors down. On a priced-by-the-hour load, kerb distance is money, and it is the part most quotes quietly ignore.

About the area
Moving out of Sydenham SE26
A long high street on the hill where the Crystal Palace once stood nearby. Sydenham Wells Park anchors the neighbourhood, and the nearest station is Sydenham (Overground). Housing here is victorian villas in flats, edwardian terraces and post-war blocks. — 64% of homes in Sydenham are flats and 21.7% are privately rented, which is why so many moves out of Sydenham are one- and two-bed loads heading a long way rather than family houses moving round the corner. Steep hills, high-street loading windows and narrow side streets. South London runs cross the M25 first, so the mileage half of the sum is genuinely longer to the north — we quote the real road distance, not a straight line.

Questions
Long distance moves from Sydenham answered
A 1-bed is £430, a 2-bed £560 and a 3-bed £690. Those are the formula, not a guess: crew hours at £65 plus 200 road miles at £1.50.
Both are around 120 road miles from SE26, so a 2-bed is £440 and a 3-bed £570. They are comfortable same-day runs with the unload finished by late afternoon.
Steep hills, high-street loading windows and narrow side streets. A kerbside load adds walking distance rather than lifting, so the honest variable is how far the lorry can legally stand from your door.
The baseline is one hour loading and one hour unloading for a 1-bed, four crew hours in total for a 2-bed and six for a 3-bed. We suspend or reserve the bay before the day so the lorry stands outside your door rather than three doors down. On a priced-by-the-hour load, kerb distance is money, and it is the part most quotes quietly ignore.

Yes. The team that loads in Sydenham is the team that unloads at the far end — no depot transfer, no shared lorry, no third party you have never met carrying your bed up someone else's stairs.

Reviews from Google
3.9 ★ from 1,407 Google reviewsThe cleaners Constantin and arrived in time and never stopped until the work was completed to the best of their ability. I would recommend a more upgraded carpet cleaner as I was hoping for a hot steam cleaner to penetrate areas or heavy foot traffic on the carpet. They never gave up until the look was more space saving. I can now access the office area to study My degree coursework at home. All rubbish accumulated was also kindly removed.
Hello Services did a fantastic job in my bungalow. The windows sparkle inside, there are no fingerprints anywhere and my lounge carpet looks new. Even my garage, which was full of cobwebs, is clean enough to eat in. I would totally recommend them. Lovely people, excellent workers.
Hello services came to clean out our apartment that we vacated on Monday 2nd February 2026. They did an amazing job and went above and beyond to make sure that the place was completely spotless and ready for the next resident. I’m really happy with their service and would very much recommend them. Their prices are also brilliant as well, very affordable, no hidden costs and more than fair and reasonable for the amazing service they provide. Very happy and thank you hello services, I’ll definitely be using them again. See before and after photos for reference.
