A planned expanded town developed under the London overspill agreements, laid out in distinct estates around a ring road, with a large employment and distribution sector on its northern and eastern edges. Fixed prices are confirmed before we arrive, and every crew working RG21 is insured to £1m.
A town designed around the car, where the only real access questions are a height barrier and a ring-road bay.

Basingstoke is the easiest large town in Hampshire to work in, and the reason is planning rather than luck. The town was expanded under the London overspill agreements, so the estates were laid out after the war for vehicles: wide distributor roads, cul-de-sacs with turning heads, garages, garage courts and driveways or verge space at the great majority of RG21 to RG24 addresses. A van reaches the door, which is why we quote Basingstoke jobs on volume, floors and time rather than on carry distance, and why the survey questions here are about height barriers and turning circles instead of staircases.
The constraints that do exist are specific and easy to check in advance. Garage courts and the older flat-block car parks at South Ham, Popley and Buckskin carry height barriers a Luton will not clear, the multi-storey decks in the town centre are the same, and the short-stay and permit bays tighten as you move inside the ring road. Old Basing and Worting keep their original village cores, where the lanes narrow and the largest vehicle becomes the wrong tool. None of that is a problem if it is known before the booking; all of it is a problem on the morning.
The work itself splits along the housing. The owner-occupier estates at Chineham, Hatch Warren, Kempshott and Beggarwood produce family removals within the town, garage and loft clearances, and after-builders cleans on extensions — Basingstoke generates more post-extension cleaning than anywhere else we cover in the county. The rented and first-time-buyer market near the centre produces the end-of-tenancy work. Disposal runs through Hampshire County Council's permit-controlled sites, which take no trade waste, so everything we clear goes to a licensed transfer station with the waste transfer note.

Yes. 1960s and 1970s expansion estates at South Ham, Popley, Buckskin and Oakridge; 1980s and 1990s owner-occupier estates at Brighton Hill, Kempshott, Chineham and Hatch Warren; later development at Beggarwood and Lychpit; central flats and converted offices inside the ring road; and older village-core property at Old Basing and Worting absorbed by the town We size the crew, the van and the kit to the property rather than quoting one flat template for the whole county.
Basingstoke is one of the easiest towns in Hampshire to work in, because it was laid out for vehicles after the war: wide estate distributor roads, cul-de-sacs with turning heads, driveways, garage courts and verge space at most addresses. The genuine constraints are narrow and specific — height barriers on garage courts and the town-centre multi-storey decks, short-stay and permit bays tightening inside the ring road, and a handful of pinch points in the older cores at Old Basing and Worting. Disposal is Hampshire County Council's, whose sites require a permit for a van, pick-up or trailer and take no trade waste; Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council sets parking, collections and bulky-waste pickups. We confirm the loading point with you when the job is booked, so nothing is decided on the doorstep on the day.
Most Basingstoke jobs are booked within two to three days, and we hold same-week slots for end-of-tenancy cleans and clearances tied to a fixed check-out or completion date.

Get my fixed priceRidiculous situation where cleaners came from Southampton to Devon to clean bungalow. Apparently this situation arose as our local cleaners were unable to come but had supported the folk from Southampton in the past. Thank goodness for loyalty! After a 3.5 hour journey to get to me they did not stop for drinks or food… Read in full →
Many thanks to Izabel's team in Southampton for doing truly an amazing job! We moved into a pretty disgusting house and the team achieved wonders in just a few hours! Buyers should bear in mind however that Hello Services charges a 50% cancellation fee if you cancel - which we thought was pretty high!
Easy to book this service and lovely chaps who turned up. A few bits missed behind the bath and in the cupboards but nothing to complain about. Lovely job in the main areas e.g. oven, carpets, windows. Would use again at the next end of tenancy. This was a two bedroom house in Aldershot.
