Housekeeper & Regular Cleaner Quote

Housekeeper & Regular Cleaner Quote — Hello Services team at work

Overview

Tell us how often you'd like a cleaner — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly — and the size of your home, and we'll match you with a vetted local housekeeper on an hourly or fixed-package rate. Every visit follows a 50-point checklist, and wherever possible we send the same housekeeper each time so they get to know your home's layout and priorities.

What Drives the Price

Home size, visit frequency, and whether you choose hourly or a fixed package.

Minimum Booking

Minimum Booking

Hourly cleaning has a 2.5-hour minimum, so there's time to work through the essentials properly.

What to Have Ready Before You Submit

Let us know your postcode, number of bedrooms, and preferred frequency. Guide pricing is £35 per hour with a 2.5-hour minimum for recurring visits, or a fixed package from £150 for a one-bedroom clean and £185 for a two-bedroom clean, covering a room-by-room scrub including kitchen and bathroom sanitisation.

What Happens After You Submit

We'll confirm your rate and offer available days for your postcode. Once your schedule is set, your assigned housekeeper attends on the agreed day and works through the checklist — if you ever need to change the frequency, swap a date, or add a one-off deep clean, you can update it at any time.

What a regular housekeeping visit covers

Every recurring visit works to the same 50-point checklist so nothing is quietly dropped when time runs short. Kitchens get worktops, splashbacks, sink and taps, hob and the outside of appliances; bathrooms get the toilet, basin, bath, shower screen, tiles and mirrors sanitised and dried down. Living areas and bedrooms are dusted top to bottom, floors vacuumed and hard floors mopped, beds made or changed if you leave fresh linen out, and bins emptied and re-lined.

Rotating extras are how a regular clean stays ahead of a home rather than just holding it steady. Skirting boards, internal window glass, door frames, inside the microwave, the fridge shelves and behind small movable appliances are worked through across visits rather than all at once, so a two-and-a-half hour slot still leaves the whole house presentable on the day.

Oven interiors, carpet cleaning, external windows, garages and lofts sit outside a housekeeping visit. They need different equipment and a different amount of time, so we quote them separately rather than eating into your regular hours.

Hourly rate or fixed package — which works out cheaper

Hourly at £35 with a 2.5-hour minimum suits homes where the priority list changes week to week, or where you want a cleaner to keep going until a particular set of rooms is done. A fixed package — from £150 for a one-bedroom home and £185 for a two-bedroom — suits a defined property where you would rather know the figure in advance and have the same rooms covered to the same standard every time.

As a rough guide, a one-bedroom flat is comfortable in the 2.5-hour minimum, a two-bedroom home usually needs three hours, and a three-bedroom house with two bathrooms is realistically three-and-a-half to four. Fortnightly visits typically need about half an hour more than weekly ones, because there is more build-up in bathrooms and on floors between visits.

Keys, access, pets and products

Most regular clients are out at work during their visit. You can leave a key with the housekeeper, use a key safe, or give building concierge instructions — whichever you choose is recorded on your booking so a cover cleaner is never left guessing. Tell us about pets when you request the quote: dogs and cats are no problem, but it helps to know if one needs to be shut in a particular room while the vacuum is running.

Housekeepers can arrive fully equipped, or work with the products already in your home if you prefer particular brands, have sensitive surfaces such as natural stone or waxed wood, or want fragrance-free products in a house with young children or allergies. Say so on the form and it is set on the booking rather than agreed verbally on the doorstep.

I booked with the company for a deep clean the day before and they were quick to respond and explain the process, including a detailed breakdown of what I would like doing and the quote. Two cleaners arrived on the day of the clean, they arrived slightly after the arrival window specified but it didn't… Read in full →
