Rubbish disposal in Greater Manchester
Licensed waste carriers clearing bagged household waste, bulky items, garage and yard clutter, fly-tipped piles and trade waste across all ten boroughs. Fixed volume pricing from from £65, same or next-day collection and a digital waste transfer note on every load.

Our rubbish disposal crews cover the whole of Greater Manchester — from the mill conversions of Ancoats and the by-law terraces of Salford to the interwar semis of Sale, Prestwich and Stockport. Every job is priced by the volume that actually leaves the property, not by the hour, so an awkward third-floor carry in a Northern Quarter loft costs what we quoted and nothing more.
We are an Environment Agency registered waste carrier. Bagged household waste, bulky items, garage and yard clutter, fly-tipped piles and trade waste is sorted at a licensed transfer station, reusable items go to local reuse partners and charities, and you get a digital waste transfer note by email the same day — the document a landlord, letting agent or council officer will ask for if a fly-tipping enquiry is ever raised against your address.
Choose your area below for local prices, access notes and permit rules for that borough. Every area page is written for that specific place: parking realities, alleyway width, tram and bus restrictions, and the housing stock our crews actually meet there.
How rubbish disposal works across Greater Manchester
- Step 1
Send photos or book a survey
Three photos — the pile, the doorway and the street — are enough for a fixed price on most rubbish disposal jobs. Larger loads get a free survey.
- Step 2
We plan access and permits
We size the crew and van to your volume and arrange any borough permit or loading bay before the slot is confirmed.
- Step 3
Load, sweep and document
Everything is carried out by hand, the space is swept and your digital waste transfer note is emailed before the van leaves.

Rubbish disposal prices in Greater Manchester

About Greater Manchester
Greater Manchester covers ten boroughs and 115 neighbourhoods, from Victorian terraces in Salford and Oldham to new-build apartments around Deansgate and Media City. Access, parking and tip routing change street by street, which is why every area page carries its own notes rather than one regional template.
Crews work out of depots close to the M60 ring, so most rubbish disposal bookings are collected same or next day and tipped at a licensed transfer station in the same borough wherever possible.

Rubbish disposal across Greater Manchester — FAQs
How much does rubbish disposal cost in Greater Manchester?
Prices start at from £65 for minimum load and rise with volume. You pay for the space the waste takes in the van, agreed before loading starts. Labour, carry, transport, tipping fees, sweep-up and the digital waste transfer note are all included — no permit, no hire period, no hourly rate. We quote a fixed band from photos or a free survey, so the figure you accept is the figure you pay.
Do you cover my part of Greater Manchester?
Yes — we cover all ten boroughs: Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and Wigan, plus every neighbourhood inside them. Pick your area from the list on this page for local pricing and access notes.
Are you licensed to remove waste?
We are registered with the Environment Agency as an upper-tier waste carrier and carry £5m public liability insurance. Every collection ends with a digital waste transfer note emailed to you, which is your legal proof of correct disposal.
How quickly can you collect?
Most Greater Manchester bookings are collected same or next day, and we hold weekend and evening slots for tenancy deadlines, completion dates and office handovers. Quotes come back in a few hours during working days.
What happens to the items you take away?
Reusable furniture, appliances and office equipment go to local reuse and charity partners first. Everything else is sorted for recycling at a licensed transfer station — typically over 90% is diverted from landfill.
Is there a call-out or travel charge anywhere in Greater Manchester?
No. The price you are quoted covers travel, labour, loading, tipping and the waste transfer note anywhere inside the ten boroughs — city-centre postcodes and outlying towns pay the same volume bands.
Do I need a skip permit?
No. Because we load by hand into a van, there is no skip on the road and no council permit to buy. Where a bay suspension is genuinely needed for a large job, we arrange it with the borough council on your behalf.
Do I have to be there for the rubbish disposal?
Not necessarily. Plenty of landlords, agents and executors leave keys with a neighbour or in a key safe and approve the load list by photo. We send before-and-after photographs, the waste transfer note and the final invoice by email the same day.
Can you work in flats, high-rise blocks and buildings without lift access?
Yes. Manchester and Salford city-centre blocks, Stockport conversions and older mill apartments are routine for us. Tell us the floor, lift situation and whether the block requires a booked service lift or loading bay, and we send the right crew size so the job still finishes in one visit.
What can't you take away?
We cannot remove asbestos, clinical or chemical waste, gas bottles, petrol, paint tins with liquid inside or loose plasterboard mixed with general waste. Flag anything of that kind when you enquire and we will point you to a licensed specialist or price it as a separate, correctly documented collection.
How do I get a fixed price?
Send photos or a short video of the rooms, garden or office involved and we return a fixed band for rubbish disposal — usually within a few hours on a working day. For larger or access-restricted jobs we run a free on-site survey first, and the price we confirm is the price you pay unless you add items on the day.
