Retail clearance is quoted plus VAT at 20% after a site visit or photos of the unit. Transfer notes, segregation and certificates of destruction on request are included. Pavement licences, loading bay suspensions and out-of-hours surcharges are itemised.
Working in Hounslow
Hounslow is built from chiswick's bedford park arts and crafts houses, 1930s semis, and thousands of new flats at brentford and hounslow, and the mix changes street by street — Brentford (TW8), Chiswick (W4) and Cranford and Heston (TW5) each behave differently on the day.
Parking is the job before the job here: heathrow flight-path noise aside, access is easy outside chiswick, where cpzs and the a4 red route bite hardest. Locally that means narrow lock-side lanes, match-day restrictions and mandatory lift booking in new blocks and conservation-area rules, a4 red route and very tight cpz around turnham green. Hounslow sits outside the Congestion Charge zone, so only ULEZ applies to the van and the quote is that much simpler.
A unit closing on a Hounslow high street is usually still liable for London Borough of Hounslow's business rates and trade waste charges until the keys go back, so leaving fixtures and stock behind at handover does not save money — it extends the liability. We work to the landlord's exit date, not a convenient one.
