BBQ cleaning London

BBQ cleaning in London grates, firebox and burners stripped and dip-cleaned.

Gas, charcoal and built-in barbecues cleaned on balconies, roof terraces and gardens across Greater London. Grates and heat plates go into the heated dip tank, the firebox is degreased and burner tubes are cleared so the flame burns evenly again before the first cook of the season.

London pricing

London BBQ cleaning prices.

Priced by burner count and how long it's been since the last clean, not by the hour. A six-burner unit that's been under a cover since last September is genuinely a half-day job.
London barbecue cleaning prices by BBQ type
JobLondon fromTypical timeWhy the London price differs
Two or three burner gas BBQ£851.5 hrsGrates, flavourizer bars and firebox stripped and dipped; burner tubes cleared of blockages that cause uneven heat.
Four to six burner gas BBQ£1202–3 hrsMore burner tubes and a bigger firebox, plus a side burner and warming rack most owners never take apart.
Built-in outdoor kitchen£1653 hrs+Fixed units cleaned in place around stone or render that cannot take the chemicals used on a free-standing BBQ.
Kettle or ceramic charcoal BBQ£701–1.5 hrsAsh removal, grate dip and a careful clean of ceramic that must not be soaked or scoured.
Pizza oven or smoker£952 hrsSoot and creosote removal, then re-seasoning the steel so it doesn't flash-rust in a damp winter.

Prices include VAT with a £65 minimum charge. Roof terrace and balcony jobs need a water point or we bring our own supply — tell us which at booking.

Working in London

BBQ cleaning on a London roof terrace or balcony.

Most London BBQs live somewhere without an outdoor tap and drain, which changes the job more than the appliance itself does.

Roof terraces and no outdoor water

New-build blocks around Nine Elms, Canary Wharf and the Greenwich Peninsula often give residents a roof terrace or balcony with no tap and no drain. We bring our own water supply and a containment sheet so nothing runs onto a neighbour's terrace below.

Lease terms in these blocks sometimes restrict what can be stored on a balcony, including gas bottles — we work around whatever the building allows rather than assuming.

Communal gardens and shared use

Garden squares and communal gardens, common across Kensington and Chelsea and parts of Islington, often have a shared BBQ used by several households on a rota, which means heavier and more uneven build-up than a private garden appliance sees.

We clean to the same standard either way, but flag where a shared unit needs a shorter interval between cleans.

Terraced gardens and carry access

Victorian terraces with narrow side returns, common in Hackney, Lewisham and Haringey, mean the only way to reach a rear garden BBQ is through the house. We sheet the route in and out so nothing marks the hallway carpet or flooring.

Seasonal booking and access windows

Demand runs hard from April to September, so early-season bookings — particularly bank holiday weekends — are worth making a week or two ahead. Winter service cleans, useful before storing a BBQ over the cold months, are usually next-day.

How it works

Three steps and a written price.

Booking bbq cleaning in london takes three steps — you get a fixed written figure before anyone is sent, and the price on the page is the price on the invoice.
  1. 1

Tell us the postcode and the job

Send photographs or a short video with your London postcode. It takes a couple of minutes and there is nothing to pay to ask.

  2. 2

    Get a fixed written price

We come back with one figure for bbq cleaning in london — ULEZ, the Congestion Charge and disposal or materials already inside it, with any council permit shown at cost.

  3. 3

Book the slot that suits you

Pick a morning or afternoon window, including evenings and weekends. You get a named team, a text before arrival and paperwork on completion.

London questions

London BBQ cleaning questions.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

  • How much does BBQ cleaning cost in London?

A two or three burner gas BBQ is £85, a four to six burner is £120, and a built-in outdoor kitchen is from £165. Charcoal kettle and ceramic BBQs are £70, and a pizza oven or smoker is £95.

  • I only have a balcony with no tap — can you still clean it?

Yes. We bring our own water supply and a containment sheet for balconies and roof terraces with no outdoor tap or drain, common in newer London blocks.

  • Will the chemicals damage my terrace or paving?

We match the product to the surface — the gel used inside a firebox is not the one used near stone paving or render on a built-in unit, and we protect the surrounding area with sheeting either way.

  • Can you clean a communal or shared garden BBQ?

Yes. Shared BBQs in communal gardens tend to need a shorter interval between cleans than a private one, since several households are using it, but the cleaning method is identical.

  • How long before I can cook on it again?

Straight away. Grates are re-oiled and the unit is left assembled and ready to light, so there's no drying time or fume clearance needed the way there might be with an oven cavity clean.

  • Do you do a winter service clean before storage?

Yes, and it's worth doing before a BBQ sits under a cover through a London winter — damp firebox residue left in over winter is what causes the flash rust we see on units brought back out in spring.
