How booking works

  1. Talk to us privately

Call 020 8124 1823 about clutter, rooms and access. If comfortable, email photos or video to info@helloservices.co.uk, excluding personal documents and other people. We listen without judgement.

  2. Agree the clean-up and quote

Agree retained items, sorting, cleaning, booked removals and reorganisation. Flag sharps, pests, contamination or unsafe access for separate assessment. Check the quote and exclusions; nothing is discarded without consent.

  3. A discreet, fully equipped team

We bring equipment and products for the agreed work, protect retained belongings, clean accessible surfaces and complete booked removals or reorganisation. Together we review the checklist and any specialist follow-up.

Benefits of a considerate hoarder clean-up

Reclaim usable space without pressure to discard valued belongings.

Reclaim usable rooms

Agreed sorting restores access to beds, seating and kitchen surfaces.

Clearer access

Fewer obstacles improve movement; serious fire risks need fire-service advice.

Reach covered surfaces

Decluttering exposes floors and fittings for intensive cleaning, rather than cleaning around piles.

Keep control

Keep-and-review categories protect possessions. Booked reorganisation supports daily use; it does not replace mental health care.

    Thank you!

“My grandad booked a deep clean in cardiff area with this company and the clean was impeccable. He was contacted the day before the clean and the lady introduced who she was and arranged a more suitable time for him. Grandad said they really made themselves at home there, chatting to him, listening to his stories. It was so nice for him to have that company for a while. The flat was cleaned, every inch and even cleaned his cooker and microwave for free. We just wish they did weekly cleaning as grandad warmed to them and is weary of booking with someone else for his cleaning. Reading mixed reviews on here but we can honestly say the clean amazing. And grandads very happy. I’m sure he said the cleaners name Was Hanna. We will definitely book again.”

“I had a one off deep clean in South Wales. I am renting my house and needed it before the tenants moved in. 2 women came to clear the property, they were friendly, informative and lovey. They did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable. Would recommend and use again.”

Hoarder Cleaning in Roath & Cathays: local guide

Victorian and Edwardian terraces, shared student houses and flat conversions shape local access planning. Tell us about permit parking, stairs and rooms belonging to others; keep retained possessions clearly separate from anything being considered for removal.

01

Shared homes, separate decisions

For cluttered house cleaning in a shared home, identify whose belongings occupy each room before sorting starts. Decluttering help should not turn a housemate’s books or kitchenware into unwanted items. Put study materials and tenancy paperwork somewhere agreed. Discreet cleaning arrangements can include deciding who needs access information.

02

Plan the route through conversions

Tell your hoarder cleaners about stairs, shared entrances and available parking rather than assuming equipment can stop outside. For a hoarding clean-up around a summer tenancy change, distinguish departing tenants’ possessions from items staying behind. Intensive cleaning can focus on agreed rooms without treating every bedroom as accessible.

03

Separate household disposal choices

Check your address with Cardiff Council before relying on its services. Its bulky collection rules exclude small electrical appliances and bikes. Household collections are not a commercial disposal route for booked removals. For resident recycling trips, centre guidance requires proof of booking and address; do not bring unsorted bags.

Frequently asked questions

Can we keep bedrooms out of scope?

Yes. For shared house cleaning, name the rooms included and excluded, and identify belongings that must stay untouched even within an agreed communal area.

What should I explain about parking?

Describe permit restrictions and the route from the stopping place to your door. Access planning helps us assess carrying equipment without assuming parking is available.

Can furniture go through council collections?

Check Cardiff’s bulky item guidance against your address and proposed items. The residential service allows a maximum of six items per booking, not unrestricted house clearance.

Do converted flats follow identical recycling arrangements?

Not necessarily: Cardiff’s separate recycling guidance distinguishes blocks with communal recycling bins. Check your building’s arrangements before planning recycling sorting or buying extra containers.

How do we protect important papers?

Choose a labelled place for passports, course notes and tenancy documents. During possessions sorting, leave uncertain papers for their owner rather than guessing their importance.

Can cleaning focus on usable shared space?

Ask for thorough cleaning of agreed communal areas, with retained belongings protected. Explain which kitchen surfaces or access routes matter most to the people living there.
