How booking works
Talk to us privately
Call 020 8124 1823 about clutter, rooms and access. If comfortable, email photos or video to info@helloservices.co.uk, excluding personal documents and other people. We listen without judgement.
Agree the clean-up and quote
Agree retained items, sorting, cleaning, booked removals and reorganisation. Flag sharps, pests, contamination or unsafe access for separate assessment. Check the quote and exclusions; nothing is discarded without consent.

We bring equipment and products for the agreed work, protect retained belongings, clean accessible surfaces and complete booked removals or reorganisation. Together we review the checklist and any specialist follow-up.

Benefits of a considerate hoarder clean-up
Reclaim usable space without pressure to discard valued belongings.
Reclaim usable rooms
Agreed sorting restores access to beds, seating and kitchen surfaces.
Clearer access
Fewer obstacles improve movement; serious fire risks need fire-service advice.
Reach covered surfaces
Decluttering exposes floors and fittings for intensive cleaning, rather than cleaning around piles.
Keep control
Keep-and-review categories protect possessions. Booked reorganisation supports daily use; it does not replace mental health care.

“Amazing service, they worked 5hrs straight and got the job done professionally. The only reason why I give a 9 is due to the cost but no doubt they have done an excellent job. Thank you Mike :)”
- ★★★★★Trustpilot
Thank you!
“My grandad booked a deep clean in cardiff area with this company and the clean was impeccable. He was contacted the day before the clean and the lady introduced who she was and arranged a more suitable time for him. Grandad said they really made themselves at home there, chatting to him, listening to his stories. It was so nice for him to have that company for a while. The flat was cleaned, every inch and even cleaned his cooker and microwave for free. We just wish they did weekly cleaning as grandad warmed to them and is weary of booking with someone else for his cleaning. Reading mixed reviews on here but we can honestly say the clean amazing. And grandads very happy. I’m sure he said the cleaners name Was Hanna. We will definitely book again.”

“I had a one off deep clean in South Wales. I am renting my house and needed it before the tenants moved in. 2 women came to clear the property, they were friendly, informative and lovey. They did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable. Would recommend and use again.”
- ★★★★★Verified customer
“Hannah and her sister did a brilliant job - really thorough. They worked quickly and unobtrusively- everything sparkles.”
- ★★★★★Trustpilot
Hannah and Charlotte were amazing
“Hannah and Charlotte were amazing! They gave my elderly mum’s house a deep clean. Polite and very pleasant, they both worked so hard for 4 hours, would not stop for a drink or chat and left the house so very clean. Nothing was too much trouble. Where I was apologising for the state of this and that, they said that I wasn’t to worry and that they would deal with it. And they did! I am so glad that I engaged Hello Services and that I got these two girls allocated to clean for me. If you live in the Swansea area and need the services of professional cleaners, use Hello Services. Hopefully, Hannah and Charlotte will come to you too.”

Hoarder Cleaning in Canton & Grangetown: local guide
Victorian terraces, flat conversions and riverside apartments need different access arrangements. With tight on-street parking on many terraced streets, identify a practical entrance and somewhere inside to protect retained possessions before moving anything.
Plan around the entrance
For cluttered house cleaning, tell us whether access involves a shared doorway or your own front door. Keep the route between rooms clear rather than using it for sorting. Discreet cleaning planning should cover parking, who will answer the door and any rooms you want left untouched.
Separate collections from keepsakes
Decluttering books and recordings can uncover personal collections worth keeping together. Label these before preparing recycling. Cardiff’s community recycling zones accept books at Canton Library and Grangetown, but neither accepts VHS or cassette tapes. Canton accepts Tetra Pak cartons; Grangetown does not. Avoid making one mixed donation-style bag.
Give large items their own plan
A hoarding clean-up need not mean emptying your home. Furniture removal should concern agreed items only. Council bulky collections are residential only and exclude small electrical appliances. Keep household arrangements separate from any waste generated or transported commercially during intensive cleaning.

Can I keep my book collection?
Yes. Possessions sorting can distinguish treasured books from unwanted copies; identify shelves or labelled boxes that must stay before any cleaning or removal begins.
What about a riverside apartment?
For apartment cleaning, explain your actual entry arrangements and where belongings can safely remain. Do not assume shared corridors can hold bags or furniture.
Can a broken microwave go to Grangetown?
No. Grangetown’s recycling zone excludes larger appliances, including microwaves. Check the council’s alternative route before carrying it out or arranging your own transport.
Will every room need cleaning?
No. Thorough cleaning can focus on agreed areas, while protected rooms remain untouched. Explain which spaces you use most and what access is possible.
Can you plan around difficult parking?
Tell us about restrictions and the entrance nearest the agreed work area. Home clearance planning should not depend on finding space directly outside.
Is help available with putting bins out?
Cardiff lists help putting out bags and bins. Ask the council about your circumstances; practical cleaning help does not establish entitlement to that service.
