How booking works

  1. Talk to us privately

Call 020 8124 1823 about clutter, rooms and access. If comfortable, email photos or video to info@helloservices.co.uk, excluding personal documents and other people. We listen without judgement.

  2. Agree the clean-up and quote

Agree retained items, sorting, cleaning, booked removals and reorganisation. Flag sharps, pests, contamination or unsafe access for separate assessment. Check the quote and exclusions; nothing is discarded without consent.

  3. A discreet, fully equipped team

We bring equipment and products for the agreed work, protect retained belongings, clean accessible surfaces and complete booked removals or reorganisation. Together we review the checklist and any specialist follow-up.

What's included

Assessed, quoted tasks only. Separately book decluttering, removals and reorganisation. You control your belongings.

Assessment, consent and access

  • Agree resident or authorised decision-maker priorities
  • Protect valuables, fragile possessions and documents
  • Agree keep, review, donate, recycle and removal categories
  • Assess unstable piles; keep walking routes clear

Unsafe structures, sharps, pests and contamination need specialist assessment.

Decluttering — when booked

  • Sort agreed cupboards, shelves and floor clutter with consent
  • Protect sentimental items, identification, medication and paperwork
  • Set uncertain items aside for your decision
  • Label bags; place kept items where agreed

Kitchens and bathrooms

  • Degrease accessible worktops, sinks, splashbacks and cupboard fronts
  • Clean emptied cupboards and drawers when agreed
  • Clean toilets, basins, baths, showers and accessible limescale
  • Wipe handles, switches and tiles; clean suitable floors

Oven, fridge, freezer, washer and hob interiors only when booked. No mould treatment or guaranteed stain removal.

Bedrooms, living rooms and hallways

  • Wipe accessible furniture, shelves, skirting and radiators
  • Clean doors, switches and agreed interior glass
  • Vacuum carpets; clean suitable floors and exposed spaces
  • No refurbishment or restoration

Extraction, upholstery, heavy furniture moving and exterior windows need separate agreement.

Item removals — when booked

  • Confirm approved bags, furniture and bulky items
  • Separate kept belongings before loading
  • Agree volume, disposal arrangements, access and charges
  • Separate electrical items, chemicals and special waste

Hazardous waste needs separate assessment.

Reorganisation — when booked

  • Return kept possessions to agreed locations
  • Arrange storage without blocking doors or heat sources
  • Maintain access to beds, seating and facilities
  • Review work, outstanding decisions and maintenance priorities

Practical support, not treatment or guaranteed prevention.

Benefits of a considerate hoarder clean-up

Reclaim usable space without pressure to discard valued belongings.

Reclaim usable rooms

Agreed sorting restores access to beds, seating and kitchen surfaces.

Clearer access

Fewer obstacles improve movement; serious fire risks need fire-service advice.

Reach covered surfaces

Decluttering exposes floors and fittings for intensive cleaning, rather than cleaning around piles.

Keep control

Keep-and-review categories protect possessions. Booked reorganisation supports daily use; it does not replace mental health care.

“A lovely team who worked well together. Friendly and professional. I’ve yet to closely inspect the finished work as I’m waiting for the carpets to dry fully. They look really clean and the cleaners went the extra mile to clean the hall rugs too. They did miss some of the skirting boards and door frame tops, but willingly attended to these when it was noted. The hourly rate per person worked out rather high at just under £30 (I’d expect a maximum of £20) which makes me less likely to use the service for future interim cleaning. But, if on close inspection, everything is as clean as it looks so far, I’m happy to recommend Hello Services for a one off deep clean.”

“The team were courteous, worked well and friendly. They did mention about regular cleans but unfortunately the price was extremely high. But the service you provided for the job in hand was fine. Thank you.”

Hoarder Cleaning in Stockton-on-Tees: local guide

Limited parking near the high street makes access notes useful for cluttered house cleaning. In Ingleby Barwick’s similar-looking streets, provide a clear house number; identify rooms and retained possessions that should remain untouched.

01

Plan around your Stockton address

For decluttering in Norton or Hartburn, identify where retained belongings can stay without obstructing access. Town-centre terraces may need particular parking arrangements. In Eaglescliffe, include entrance details when booking discreet cleaning. Keep paperwork, photographs and everyday essentials separate from anything being considered for removal during your hoarding clean-up.

02

Separate cleaning from council collection

Before arranging bulky waste collection, check each proposed item against the council’s accepted items. Unlisted items cannot be collected. The collection terms require items at the property edge, not on roads or pathways; crews cannot enter houses or garages. Plan furniture removal separately from intensive cleaning indoors.

03

Check household recycling arrangements

For your own household recycling trip, consult the Haverton Hill booking page: a slot and photographic proof of borough residence are required. Check current vehicle restrictions before travelling. Do not assume this household route covers contractor waste. Thorough cleaning and any booked removals need separate arrangements.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep a room untouched?

Yes. For home organisation in your Stockton property, identify rooms to skip and label retained possessions clearly, especially where sorting space is limited.

Will council crews carry my sofa outside?

No. The council collection terms exclude entering houses or garages. Discuss an accessible holding point before agreeing any sofa removal from your home.

Can I add unlisted bulky items?

The bulky waste guidance says items absent from the booking form cannot be collected. Check acceptance before setting belongings aside for council collection.

What should I check before visiting Haverton Hill?

Read the household recycling booking requirements for photographic proof of borough residence, vehicle registration and applicable permits; check current access restrictions before loading.

Does hoarder house clearance mean everything goes?

No. Hoarder house clearance here means only assessed, booked removals you agree to. Separate items you want retained before planning access through your home.

What access details help in Ingleby Barwick?

Give the house number, entrance directions and parking notes for similar-looking streets. For possessions sorting, also identify a space where retained items can remain.
