How booking works

  1. Talk to us privately

Call 020 8124 1823 about clutter, rooms and access. If comfortable, email photos or video to info@helloservices.co.uk, excluding personal documents and other people. We listen without judgement.

  2. Agree the clean-up and quote

Agree retained items, sorting, cleaning, booked removals and reorganisation. Flag sharps, pests, contamination or unsafe access for separate assessment. Check the quote and exclusions; nothing is discarded without consent.

  3. A discreet, fully equipped team

We bring equipment and products for the agreed work, protect retained belongings, clean accessible surfaces and complete booked removals or reorganisation. Together we review the checklist and any specialist follow-up.

What's included

Assessment, consent and access

  • Agree resident or authorised decision-maker priorities
  • Protect valuables, fragile possessions and documents

  • Assess unstable piles; keep walking routes clear

Unsafe structures, sharps, pests and contamination need specialist assessment.

Decluttering — when booked

  • Protect sentimental items, identification, medication and paperwork
  • Set uncertain items aside for your decision
  • Label bags; place kept items where agreed

Kitchens and bathrooms

  • Degrease accessible worktops, sinks, splashbacks and cupboard fronts
  • Clean emptied cupboards and drawers when agreed
  • Clean toilets, basins, baths, showers and accessible limescale
  • Wipe handles, switches and tiles; clean suitable floors

Oven, fridge, freezer, washer and hob interiors only when booked. No mould treatment or guaranteed stain removal.

Bedrooms, living rooms and hallways

  • Wipe accessible furniture, shelves, skirting and radiators
  • Clean doors, switches and agreed interior glass
  • Vacuum carpets; clean suitable floors and exposed spaces
  • No refurbishment or restoration

Extraction, upholstery, heavy furniture moving and exterior windows need separate agreement.

Item removals — when booked

  • Confirm approved bags, furniture and bulky items
  • Separate kept belongings before loading
  • Agree volume, disposal arrangements, access and charges
  • Separate electrical items, chemicals and special waste

Hazardous waste needs separate assessment.

Reorganisation — when booked

  • Return kept possessions to agreed locations
  • Arrange storage without blocking doors or heat sources
  • Maintain access to beds, seating and facilities
  • Review work, outstanding decisions and maintenance priorities

Practical support, not treatment or guaranteed prevention.

Benefits of a considerate hoarder clean-up

Reclaim usable space without pressure to discard valued belongings.

Reclaim usable rooms

Agreed sorting restores access to beds, seating and kitchen surfaces.

Clearer access

Fewer obstacles improve movement; serious fire risks need fire-service advice.

Reach covered surfaces

Decluttering exposes floors and fittings for intensive cleaning, rather than cleaning around piles.

Keep control

Keep-and-review categories protect possessions. Booked reorganisation supports daily use; it does not replace mental health care.

“Loredana came to my 3 bed 2 bath property in Berkshire today with her colleague for end of tenancy deep clean. She was prompt, arriving early, fully equipped with all she required to complete the job. She was really lovely, professional and worked meticulously and thoroughly. They both did a great job and asked me to check everything and addressed any things immediately ensuring that I was happy with the job before leaving and taking payment. They stuck to the agreed quote and did not add any additional costs as I have seen other companies do. The company kept me updated and responded to any queries in a reasonable time frame. I feel confident that if there were any issues both Loredana and Hello would have dealt with them professionally and promptly. Thank you 🙏”

“I was initially quoted £135 to deep clean a studio flat. On the day, 2 cleaners arrived and one of them proceeded to take pictures and saying the place is in a state (isn’t that why a deep clean is requested)? They left the property and I received a call from the company saying due to the grime, etc, it would cost another £200! I felt I wasn’t in a position to argue as it was my recently deceased brother who lived there and I had to clear it, so I paid and they came back. Apart from the attitude of the picture-taker, I have gone back today to check and I cannot fault their cleaning. Everywhere was spotless and all appliances smear-free. They cleared out at least 20 plastic carrier bags, and other sundries so 4 stars they’ve got. I think they should offer an in-person quote so they can see the condition and give an accurate quote.”

Hoarder Cleaning in Chatham: local guide

For a Chatham address in ME4 or ME5, explain the actual entrance and where retained possessions can stay. Check the address with Medway Council before arranging household waste services; postcode alone does not confirm coverage.

01

Plan around your entrance

Cluttered house cleaning should start with an accurate description of access, not assumptions about Chatham homes. If you share an entrance, identify an indoor space for sorting possessions. For council tenants, Medway’s fire safety guidance says communal areas must remain clear, including furniture awaiting rubbish collection.

02

Separate keeping from disposal

For decluttering, mark documents, photographs and everyday essentials before considering bulky furniture. Medway’s bulky collection rules allow up to three items per booking, collected only at the kerbside. Household bookings are separate from our assessed removals; do not assume they can handle waste from a cleaning business.

03

Leave room for other support

A hoarding clean-up can prioritise usable routes without deciding the future of every possession. Medway’s support advice identifies Fire and Rescue Safe and Well visits and GP support for concerns about hoarding. Discreet cleaning is practical assistance, not counselling or treatment; wider support remains a separate choice.

Frequently asked questions

What should I explain about access?

For intensive cleaning, describe any stairs, shared doors or entry arrangements at your Chatham home. Photographs can help explain obstacles without assuming a property type.

Can I keep one room untouched?

Yes. Identify that room when discussing thorough cleaning, and explain whether it holds private papers, sentimental belongings or items someone else needs to review.

Can furniture wait on a landing?

For council tenants, Medway’s communal area guidance says no. Plan an appropriate holding place inside your home rather than moving clutter into shared escape routes.

Does house clearance mean everything goes?

No. Hoarder house clearance means only assessed, booked removals here. Keep a separate list of furniture to retain, even when surrounding clutter needs attention.

Is help available for fire concerns?

Medway’s advice page describes Safe and Well visits from Fire and Rescue. Ask about that separate support if stored belongings affect movement around your home.

How should I prepare personal belongings?

For belongings sorting and room reorganisation, choose a clearly labelled place for keys, medicines and correspondence, so important items remain identifiable throughout the work.
