How much a deep clean costs in London, and what moves the price
Published prices by size and condition, the four things that genuinely change a quote, and the charges you should refuse to pay.

Price by size and condition
We price on two variables: how big the property is, and how hard it will be. A studio kept on top of is £155; the same studio after two years of no attention is closer to £205 because it needs more product contact time and more passes, not because we charge by the hour.
A 1-bed is £189 to £215, a 2-bed £245 to £275, a 3-bed £305 to £340, a 4-bed £375 to £415 and a 5-bed or larger £435 to £485. Those are the whole-property numbers, including the oven and the bathrooms.
The four things that actually change a quote
Condition is the biggest factor, and it is worth being honest about it: an underestimated property is the main reason a clean overruns. After that comes the number of bathrooms, because each one is 45 to 75 minutes of descaling and steaming. Then the appliances — a range cooker or double oven is £35 more because of dip time. Then any add-ons: carpets from £45 a room, sofas from £75, mattresses from £40.

What should never appear on a London invoice
Parking, permits, suspensions and dispensations. The ULEZ charge. The Congestion Charge where the address falls inside the zone. Products and equipment. Weekend or evening surcharges. All of those are inside our quoted price, and a London cleaning company adding them afterwards is quietly re-pricing the job.
The one genuine premium we publish is £40 for a true same-day call-out, and only when a team is free.
Fixed price versus hourly rate
An hourly rate transfers the risk of a difficult property onto you: the dirtier the oven, the more you pay. A fixed price puts it on us. It also removes the incentive to work slowly, which is the quiet problem with hourly cleaning at scale.
The only honest requirement of fixed pricing is an accurate description at the quote stage. Tell us the property is rough and the price reflects it up front; tell us it is spotless and the team arrives with too few hours.

Domestic deep cleaning is supplied VAT-free where the cleaner is self-employed, so the price you see is the price you pay. Landlord, managing-agent and business contracts invoiced through the company are quoted plus VAT at 20%.
No. Where an address falls inside the zone, the charge is already inside the fixed price. It is never added as a separate line.
No deposit for standard domestic bookings. You pay on completion, after the walk-round.
