Benefits of a considerate hoarder clean-up
Reclaim usable space without pressure to discard valued belongings.
Reclaim usable rooms
Agreed sorting restores access to beds, seating and kitchen surfaces.
Clearer access
Fewer obstacles improve movement; serious fire risks need fire-service advice.
Reach covered surfaces
Decluttering exposes floors and fittings for intensive cleaning, rather than cleaning around piles.
Keep control
Keep-and-review categories protect possessions. Booked reorganisation supports daily use; it does not replace mental health care.

“Hannah and her sister did a brilliant job - really thorough. They worked quickly and unobtrusively- everything sparkles.”

Thank you!
“My grandad booked a deep clean in cardiff area with this company and the clean was impeccable. He was contacted the day before the clean and the lady introduced who she was and arranged a more suitable time for him. Grandad said they really made themselves at home there, chatting to him, listening to his stories. It was so nice for him to have that company for a while. The flat was cleaned, every inch and even cleaned his cooker and microwave for free. We just wish they did weekly cleaning as grandad warmed to them and is weary of booking with someone else for his cleaning. Reading mixed reviews on here but we can honestly say the clean amazing. And grandads very happy. I’m sure he said the cleaners name Was Hanna. We will definitely book again.”

“I had a one off deep clean in South Wales. I am renting my house and needed it before the tenants moved in. 2 women came to clear the property, they were friendly, informative and lovey. They did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable. Would recommend and use again.”

Hannah and Charlotte were amazing
“Hannah and Charlotte were amazing! They gave my elderly mum’s house a deep clean. Polite and very pleasant, they both worked so hard for 4 hours, would not stop for a drink or chat and left the house so very clean. Nothing was too much trouble. Where I was apologising for the state of this and that, they said that I wasn’t to worry and that they would deal with it. And they did! I am so glad that I engaged Hello Services and that I got these two girls allocated to clean for me. If you live in the Swansea area and need the services of professional cleaners, use Hello Services. Hopefully, Hannah and Charlotte will come to you too.”

“Team were lovely, and cleaned the house to a high standard of professionalism. Would very happily use the same service again!”

Hoarder Cleaning in Merthyr Tydfil: local guide
Merthyr’s valley terraces, post-war estates and newer edge-of-town homes need individual access planning. Before cluttered house cleaning, tell us about steep approaches, on-street parking and rooms containing possessions you want left untouched.
Plan around the approach
For a hoarding clean-up, describe the route from your door to the nearest usable parking space, especially on a steep street. Keep a separate indoor place for retained possessions rather than mixing them with outgoing bags. Discreet cleaning planning should include where equipment can stand without obstructing your entrance.
Separate furniture decisions from cleaning
Before decluttering, distinguish furniture to keep from items you may offer for reuse. The council’s bulky collection guidance says only recorded items are collected; extras remain behind. Agree any booked removals separately from household collection arrangements. Intensive cleaning need not mean giving up a usable chair or treasured cabinet.
Leave room for everyday recycling
During home reorganisation, reserve accessible space for recycling containers, not just cleared floor space. The council’s recycling information describes kerbside options for textiles, batteries and small electrical items. Check preparation instructions before sorting these out. Thorough cleaning should leave the things you use regularly within comfortable reach.

What access details should I send?
For deep cleaning, describe parking restrictions, steps and the carrying route. Photographs can help explain access without requiring you to move valued belongings first.
Can I keep a room untouched?
Yes. Identify rooms or cupboards to exclude when arranging practical cleaning help, and choose a clearly marked place for documents, photographs and sentimental possessions.
What if my bulky item is unlisted?
Ask the council before arranging collection. Its bulky waste guidance directs residents with unlisted large items to contact the team for advice about possible arrangements.
Can I take bulky items by van?
The council guidance says a van visit to a Household Recycling Centre needs a permit. This does not authorise commercial disposal through household services.
Is help available with putting bins out?
The council lists an assisted collection application route. Ask about your circumstances directly; our cleaning support does not determine acceptance or arrange council approval.
Must reusable furniture be thrown away?
No. The council’s reuse guidance says it asks whether furniture is reusable and advises where to leave it. Keep undecided items separate during household decluttering.
