Benefits of a considerate hoarder clean-up
Reclaim usable space without pressure to discard valued belongings.
Reclaim usable rooms
Agreed sorting restores access to beds, seating and kitchen surfaces.
Clearer access
Fewer obstacles improve movement; serious fire risks need fire-service advice.
Reach covered surfaces
Decluttering exposes floors and fittings for intensive cleaning, rather than cleaning around piles.
Keep control
Keep-and-review categories protect possessions. Booked reorganisation supports daily use; it does not replace mental health care.

First time using Hello Services
“First time using Hello Services and I was not disappointed! I needed a deep clean for a 1 bedroom flat and the team did a wonderful job - all was pristine, including appliances! In just 2 hours! Definitely worth the price!”
- ★★★★★Google
“Really pleased with the service and results. We had a deep clean throughout ( - the photos don’t do it justice), including having the lounge carpet shampooed and oven cleaned. Everything looked immaculate after Konstantin and Mariana had finished. I had my reservations after seeing some negative reviews but our experience was excellent. They worked non-stop and couldn’t have been more helpful and obliging. Thank you!”

The two young men were lovely very…
“The two young men were lovely very friendly and nice to mum. However they were over an hour late. They did a very nice job on the flat but it only took them two hours possibly because we were not made aware that every single thing to be cleaned had to be listed. To me a deep clean means pretty much everything. Although we were pleased, we feel that amount of money for two hours times two men is very expensive. I know the price is per job but if you work out the hourly rate it’s very high.”

Cleaning in Lincolnshire: local guide
Start with the address and possessions
For decluttering in Lincolnshire, establish the collection address before choosing a disposal route. South Kesteven’s booking form uses that address to determine collection options. If preparing an owned home for sale, separate deeds, photographs and furniture being retained from unwanted belongings. For a Lincoln flat or shared house, identify each person’s possessions and confirm any shared access arrangements. Cluttered house cleaning should not turn somebody else’s belongings into presumed waste.
Match bulky items to council rules
A hoarding clean-up needs an itemised disposal plan rather than an undifferentiated pile. Boston’s bulky waste guidance excludes building materials, asbestos, hazardous and medical waste. South Kesteven’s service collects only listed items and excludes extra waste and recycling. Before intensive cleaning, distinguish furniture from loose rubbish and fixtures. For hoarder house clearance, removals must be assessed and booked; a household council collection is separate from our cleaning arrangements.
Plan the route out without losing essentials
Discreet cleaning benefits from agreeing where retained belongings will stay, especially if entrances are shared. If there are stairs, narrow doorways or restricted parking, explain these before booking removals. North Lincolnshire’s bulky collection crews cannot enter homes or carry items on stairs; presentation must be outside at ground level. Do not move furniture outside until its route is confirmed. Keep keys, medicines and everyday clothing accessible throughout household decluttering.
Keep household and business disposal separate
For thorough cleaning followed by a resident’s own recycling trip, check vehicle and material rules first. North Lincolnshire’s recycling guidance excludes residents from outside its area and commercial waste. It also warns that incorrectly discarded vapes can cause fires; keep them separate for appropriate recycling. Do not assume a household permit covers a contractor’s load. Possessions sorting should distinguish reusable items, ordinary rubbish and anything needing a separate disposal enquiry.

ONS Census area changesFrequently asked questions
Does one council cover every disposal arrangement?
No single disposal route is established for this regional page. Check your address with the council. Boston’s recycling centre information identifies Lincolnshire County Council as its operator, distinct from the borough’s bulky collection service.
Can Boston crews collect furniture from indoors?
Do not plan on indoor collection: Boston Borough’s guidance says crews cannot collect inside properties. Agree safe handling and an appropriate outside presentation point separately, without blocking your entrance or mixing retained furniture with booked items.
Can relatives take everything to North Lincolnshire tips?
Not automatically. North Lincolnshire’s permit rules restrict access and distinguish household from commercial waste. Ask the council about the address, vehicle and proposed load before relatives hire transport for help with accumulated belongings.
What if ordinary bins cannot hold the rubbish?
For a confirmed North Lincolnshire address, council bin guidance says excess waste beside bins is not collected. Plan a separate lawful route rather than leaving bags outside; elsewhere, check the relevant council’s own rules.
Can furniture be donated instead of discarded?
Possibly, but acceptance needs checking. Boston’s reuse advice recommends accurately describing furniture condition and contacting the charity directly. Keep potential donations distinct from rubbish during room reorganisation, without assuming collection will be available.
Where can I ask about difficulty moving bins?
For North Lincolnshire addresses, assisted collection guidance describes a service with qualifying criteria. Ask the council whether it applies to your household; practical cleaning help does not establish eligibility or replace health support.
