An East Hampshire market town in a bowl of the South Downs, with a Georgian square, a working weekly market and the South Downs National Park surrounding it on every side. Fixed prices are confirmed before we arrive, and every crew working GU31 is insured to £1m.
A working market square that sets the loading window, inside a National Park that sets the vehicle.

Petersfield is small, well kept and genuinely constrained by its own centre. The Square still holds a working market, the surrounding streets are Georgian and largely listed, and the bays around them are controlled, so the first practical question on any move or clearance here is which morning we can load and from where. We settle that before the booking rather than turning up on a market day. Herne Farm and the modern development on the edges are ordinary suburban housing with drives and turning space.
The surrounding country is the other half of the work. Steep, Stroud, Langrish, Ramsdean, Weston and the lanes towards Buriton lie inside the South Downs National Park, where roads are narrow, flint-walled and frequently without a turning point, and the property is older cottages, farmhouses and converted agricultural buildings. That is where our probate and downsizing clearances concentrate, and it is why the vehicle is chosen from the access rather than from the volume.
East Hampshire District Council sets parking, collections and the chargeable bulky-waste pickup; Hampshire County Council runs the recycling centres, which need a permit for vans and trailers and refuse trade waste. In the older stock, handyman work meets lath and plaster and soft brick that will not hold a standard fixing under load, and on a listed building some work to a protected elevation needs consent — we say which category a job falls into before starting it.

Yes. Georgian and Victorian property around The Square, High Street and College Street, much of it listed; Victorian terraces near the station; interwar and post-war semis through Herne Farm and the eastern edge; modern estate development on the northern edge; and period cottages and farmhouses through the GU32 downland villages We size the crew, the van and the kit to the property rather than quoting one flat template for the whole county.
Petersfield's centre is a market square that is still used as one, so loading around The Square and the High Street works around market days and controlled bays rather than ignoring them. The streets behind are narrow, with listed frontages and resident parking. Herne Farm and the modern estates are conventional, with drives and turning space. The GU32 villages sit inside the South Downs National Park on narrow lanes with flint walls and limited turning, which decides the vehicle. East Hampshire District Council sets parking, collections and bulky waste; disposal is Hampshire County Council's permit-controlled recycling centres, which take no trade waste. We confirm the loading point with you when the job is booked, so nothing is decided on the doorstep on the day.
Most Petersfield jobs are booked within two to three days, and we hold same-week slots for end-of-tenancy cleans and clearances tied to a fixed check-out or completion date.

Get my fixed priceIzabel and her assistant came to clean our Southampton flat last Saturday prior to our new tenant moving in. She was punctual, professional and extremely efficient, and deep cleaned everywhere to an extremely high standard. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Izabel!
Ridiculous situation where cleaners came from Southampton to Devon to clean bungalow. Apparently this situation arose as our local cleaners were unable to come but had supported the folk from Southampton in the past. Thank goodness for loyalty! After a 3.5 hour journey to get to me they did not stop for drinks or food… Read in full →
The girls that came were efficient, polite and hard working but due to an unforeseen incident weren’t the crew that were initially supposed to be doing the job. Consequently having had to travel from Southampton which is quite some distance away, didn’t arrive until 4.40pm meaning a late finish which was slightly intrusive
